Nice discussion today at TCI2025 where I had the opportunity to share some insights on Transformative Innovation and its synergies and differences with Cluster policy, followed by a really insightful discussion groups around this topic that is gaining real traction.

Discussion group on I3 Value Chains
As part of European Future Innovation System (EFIS) Centre, partner of the I3 Support Facility consortium, I had the pleasure of supporting my colleague Elīna Grīniece in the discussion group on value chains held last September the 25th in Brussels, at the premises of the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA).

The S3 Community of Practice, an Initiative of the European Commission ’s DG Regio has just published a new policy paper on “S3 as a Tool for Developing Industrial Policy at Regional Level”, that reflects the debates and contributions held in the Industrial Transition Working Group, to whose members I feel specially thankful.
